Indonesia Grants Medical Device Patent for babyLance(tm) Safety Heelstick

JAKARTA, Indonesia - Dec. 4, 2013 - PRLog -- MediPurpose(tm), a master distributor and manufacturer of medical products, today announced an addition to its expanding portfolio of lancet patents.

The medical product company was recently granted patent W00 2010 04557 for its babyLance(tm) safety heelstick from the Indonesian Directorate General of Intellectual Property Rights (DJHKI) in Jakarta.

MediPurpose holds numerous international patents that protect its medical device intellectual property (IP), both for babyLance and the SurgiLance(tm) safety lancet. Most recently, the European Patent Office (EPO) granted a patent that protects babyLance's IP in 38 member nations.
