5th Annual San Antonio Pet Expo Currently Seeking Vendors, Publicity Partners, Sponsors and More

SAN ANTONIO - Dec. 10, 2013 - PRLog -- More than fourty local animal rescue groups, service providers, exhibitors and sponsors have already signed up to share the spotlight on Saturday, March 29, 2014 at the San Antonio Events Center from 10 AM to 6 PM.  This free, indoor event features 85+ exhibitors of pet related products, information and services to help people care for their four-legged family members.  The event also features over 200 adoptable pets from local rescue and animal welfare organizations that can help attendees to adopt a pet responsibly.

Attendees can meet Shorty Rossi and Hercules, stars of the hit show “Pit Boss” on Animal Planet.  Mr. Rossi serves as the national spokesperson for Amazing Pet Expos and has a special passion that has been a major part of his life since he was a teenager – championing the cause of pit bulls. When Rossi isn’t managing Shortywood Productions, a company that works with little people in the entertainment industry or filming ‘Pit Boss,’ he’s working with Shorty’s Pit Bull Rescue, a charity he formed that rescues, rehabilitates and places neglected and abused pit bulls in loving, nurturing homes.

Enjoy a day filled with entertainment and live demonstrations for all, including your pet pals!  Pet friends can participate in and win prizes in competitions such as the Pet Costume Contest, Pet/Owner Talent Contest or Pet/Owner Musical Chairs.  Other speakers and activities include demonstrations by Micmac Teaching for Dogs and informational sessions with reputable local animal trainers and veterinarians. In addition, the Entertainment Stage will be packed with special guests and presentations, fashion shows and more.
