Seattle Pet Expo Currently Seeking Vendors, Publicity Partners, Sponsors and More

SEATTLE - Dec. 11, 2013 - PRLog -- More than fifty local animal rescue groups, service providers, exhibitors and sponsors have already signed up to share the spotlight on Saturday, April 26, 2014 at the Seattle Center from 10 AM to 6 PM.  This free, indoor event features 100+ exhibitors of pet related products, information and services to help people care for their four-legged family members.  The event also features over 200 adoptable pets from local rescue and animal welfare organizations that can help attendees to adopt a pet responsibly.

Attendees can meet Shorty Rossi and Hercules, stars of the hit show “Pit Boss” on Animal Planet.  Mr. Rossi serves as the national spokesperson for Amazing Pet Expos and has a special passion that has been a major part of his life since he was a teenager – championing the cause of pit bulls. When Rossi isn’t managing Shortywood Productions, a company that works with little people in the entertainment industry or filming ‘Pit Boss,’ he’s working with Shorty’s Pit Bull Rescue, a charity he formed that rescues, rehabilitates and places neglected and abused pit bulls in loving, nurturing homes.

Enjoy a day filled with entertainment and live demonstrations for all, including your pet pals!  Pet friends can participate in and win prizes in competitions such as the Pet Connection Magazine Costume Contest, Pet/Owner Talent Contest or Pet/Owner Musical Chairs.  Other speakers and activities include an awesome agility course and informational sessions with reputable local animal trainers and veterinarians. In addition, the Entertainment Stage will be packed with special guests and presentations, fashion shows and more.

If you’re looking to add a pet to your family, a major highlight of the Seattle Pet Expo is the Mega-Adoption Event, featuring over 200 adoptable pets and multiple, Seattle, WA rescue organizations.  The Official Automotive Sponsor, Carter Subaru, sponsored several of the rescue organizations, making it possible for them to benefit from the Seattle Pet Expo and raise awareness for their organizations.    Patti Welch, Vice President of Marketing for the show explains, “The Mega-Adoption Event is always a very popular part of this show.  Nothing compares to the feeling when a pet connects with their forever home and we work tirelessly to support the numerous rescue organizations that participate in our events.“
