Ring in the New Year with Busker Ball V

NEW YORK - Dec. 29, 2013 - PRLog -- Make your New Year’s resolution today to be at Busker Ball V coming to Spike Hill at 184-186 Bedford Avenue in Brooklyn on January 23.

“This is one of the most amazing lineups we have ever had for our Busker Ball,” said Theo Eastwind, organizer of the event. “There are six very talented musicians that are going to rock the house that night.”

Doors for Busker Ball V open at 7 pm and Robert Leslie will get the party started at 7:30 p.m. He is followed by Supremo Massive at 8:15 p.m. and Mount Moon at 9 p.m. Theo Eastwind, organizer of the Busker Balls will entertain the crowd at 9:45 p.m. The evening rounds up with musical sets from Blueberryseason at 10:30 p.m. and Gabriel Royal at 11:15 p.m.

“I am so very excited about these incredible performances we have set for Busker Ball V,” Eastwind said. “We’re already making plans for an amazing Busker Ball VI on April 24.”

Busker Ball V showcases some of the most talented buskers, or street musicians, that the Big Apple has to offer. Every three months, Busker Ball organizer Theo Eastwind scours the streets for buskers to perform in the Busker Ball.

This is the fifth Busker Ball show which has taken New York City by storm. World famous musicians, such as Woody Guthrie, Pete Seeger, Janis Joplin, Joshua Bell, Bob Dylan and Walter von der Vogelweide have all started as street musicians entertaining the public in exchange for donations.

“This is the true indie music scene in New York,” Eastwind said. “Tickets for Busker Ball V will go fast and you don’t want to miss this show.”

Busker Ball V takes place on January 23 at 184-186 Bedford Avenue in Brooklyn. The suggested donation for the show is $10. Doors for the show are at 7 p.m. and more information about Busker Ball V is available at www.spikehillmusic.com.

Convenient transportation to the event is available by taking the L train to Bedford Avenue or the G to Metropolitan Avenue.
