We create programs that focus on the critical needs of Metro Detroit and sustain health and well-being for everyone.” Focusing on the theme “A Sense of Belonging, A Healthier You,” the message will be spread across Metro Detroit on billboards, radio, direct mail pieces and in local newspapers. Members who sign up in January will receive $275 worth of savings on Y activities and services including personal training, summer day camp, sport programs and more. “People of all ages and backgrounds turn to the Y for programs that nurture the potential of children and teens, improve health and wellness, and enable people to give back and support the spirit of community.” said Thebault. Through its new brand strategy and framework, the Y focuses on three core areas: youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. The nonprofit will extend its reach into communities to nurture the potential of youth and teens, improve the area’s health and well-being and provide opportunities to support neighbors. ### About the YMCA of Metropolitan Detroit: The Y is one of the nation’s leading nonprofits strengthening communities through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.
