Jan. 18, 2014 - PRLog -- Love puppets but having a hard time coming up with new ideas?

Need help finding the ‘funny’ in your work, or just need some motivation to get some writing done? Well then this is the workshop for you.

These sketch writing techniques apply to all writing, whether its a feature length script or writing a monologue to start your show. The idea is, better writing gives you better puppetry. So bring a pen, paper, and get ready take the next step toward being a better writer.

Erik Kuska is a former TV puppetry teacher at PUPPET SCHOOL, and he recently played Clocky and Mr. Window in the ‘Pee Wee Herman's Playhouse’ shows at Club Nokia.

He has taken sketch from Groundlings, UCB, ACME, and from members of the Midnight Show and WKUK. He's a regular at local puppet slams and has performed his sketches at the National Puppetry Festivals (where he also taught this workshop).

We hope you can join us!
