In his keynote address, Hudson will discuss the opportunities and challenges of today’s workers’ compensation market, and how the political and economic climates are affecting the industry. Hudson is well suited to the task. As President and CEO of Gallagher Bassett Services, he oversees approximately 4,700 skilled professionals who provide claims management, medical cost containment, analytical and consultative services to its clients worldwide representing virtually every sector of the global economy. Prior to joining Gallagher Bassett in 2010, Hudson spent more than 25 years as a business consultant specializing in the insurance and financial services industries. He began his consulting career with Anderson Consulting (now Accenture), and over the years, he has held key leadership positions with Information Consulting Group; McKinsey & Company, Inc.; Renaissance Worldwide, Inc.; and, most recently, Bridge Strategy Group LLC in Chicago. “We are delighted to have someone of Mr. Hudson’s experience and reputation as our keynote speaker,” says WCEC General Chairman James N. McConnaughhay. “His appearance is reflective of the national scope that our convention presents, and the importance that we place on presenting programs of significance from prominent industry leaders.” The 4-day conference is the largest gathering of its kind in the nation.
