After finding herself overworked, divorced and obsessed with achieving society’s vision of the perfect life, unhappy Southwest Floridian businesswoman Geva Salerno takes a leap of faith. For one year, she challenges herself to step outside her preconceived ideas about life in order to reclaim her true self. What does this mean? No dating for 12 months, (nor even thinking about men!), and a different, healthier relationship with work. This forces her to examine her real monetary needs and how she spends her time.

Geva Salerno is an author, artist, musician and speaker who started her spiritual journey at age 15. She is passionate about women’s liberation, empowerment, creativity, personal growth and spirituality and seeks to inspire others through her writing. In her quest to understand the world, she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from the University of Massachusetts, Boston, and a Master of Arts degree in International Policy Studies from the Monterey Institute of International Studies. She has lived in both India and Mexico and currently resides in Bonita Springs, Florida.
