Mountain View College To Host Launch & Learn Introducing Their New Business & Career Center

DALLAS - Feb. 3, 2014 - PRLog -- Mountain View College’s Economic Workforce & Development department will host a Launch & Learn on Wednesday, February 5, 2014 from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. in B Building, Room B149. The event marks the launch of the college’s new business and career center, which has been developed to facilitate creative partnership solutions tailored to the business and training needs of area companies.

Economic & Workforce Development works daily with area businesses to train their workforce through Texas Workforce Center grants (Skills Development Fund), in order to increase their skill sets and profitability, and it is through these relationships that the business and career center was created. As companies expressed their growing need for innovative business and training solutions, Mountain View College listened and took action, and is now excited to introduce all that it has to offer.

Participants at Wednesday’s Launch & Learn are encouraged to learn more about how newly developed corporate sales and grant strategies can create measurable outcomes, solidify team performance and increase their sales. During the event, corporate account managers will be on hand to complete onsite assessments in order to determine the specific training needs of businesses, and to analyze ways in which they can increase their profitability.
