Singer/Actress Haviland Stillwell Previews New Electro Pop Dance Album During Dinah Shore Weekend

PALM SPRINGS, Calif. - March 18, 2014 - PRLog -- (Palm Springs, CA) – Haviland Stillwell released her new single Rise In Love on Valentine’s Day last month in preparation for the late-April release of her latest album, Spark. But fans can get a first-hand chance to hear the Broadway-Singer-turned-Electro-Pop-Diva perform in Palm Springs during the city’s iconic women’s weekend. Stillwell, also an accomplished actor, writer and producer, will showcase her musical prowess at downtown Palm Springs hotspot Oscar’s Café & Bar, where she is scheduled to perform as the headline act on Saturday, April 5^th at 6pm.

Stillwell, born in Savannah, Georgia and currently living in Los Angeles by way of Atlanta and New York City, has made a career playing characters on Broadway, in Television, Film and Voiceover. But her newest album, which she describes as “a love filled ray gun burst of ass-kicking yes,” is an extension of herself, and is entirely original songs she has written with the collaboration of some amazing producers.

In Haviland’s words: “I wanted to make a dance album that empowers people to keep moving, keep rising, and to keep choosing love over fear. And the beats are all thumping, playful, and sexy!”

Haviland Stillwell has performed on Broadway in Fiddler on the Roof and Les Miserables, and has performed on live broadcasts of the Tony Awards® and the Academy Awards®. She has had a recurring acting role on Single Ladies, and has appeared in numerous films and shows including The Client List, Giada at Home, CSI:NY, The Apprentice, Below the Beltway, and web-series Unicorn Plan-it, which she co-created.
