“Dash and a Handful” Owner to Acquire Pho 533 Restaurant in Palm Springs

PALM SPRINGS, Calif. - March 4, 2015 - PRLog -- (Palm Springs, CA) – Palm Springs business owner Chad Gardner, the Culinary Artist and Executive Chef behind the incredibly successful Dash and a Handful – Extraordinary Events & Artisan Catering (http://dashhandful.com) has confirmed that he is in escrow to purchase Pho 533, a popular Palm Springs restaurant located in the Smoke Tree Village shopping center.

As a long-time fan and patron, Gardner wants to continue the success of Pho 533. “I’m extremely excited to take the reins of this great restaurant and its loyal following that has been lovingly cultivated by its current ownership,” says Gardner, who will serve as Executive Chef for both businesses.

No changes to staff or menu are planned for the popular Palm Springs restaurant. “You may see some new specials introduced here and there, but the current menu will remain virtually intact,” said Gardner. “We want this to be a seamless transition.” He added that with a 4-Star rating on Yelp with over 160 reviews, Pho 533’s customers clearly enjoy it.

Gardner founded Dash and a Handful, a full service Catering and Special Event Company in Palm Springs in 2011. Since then, the company’s business has skyrocketed, allowing him to achieve one of his personal goals of having a restaurant. “I started my career in restaurants, and I love all types of Asian food, but since I was trained as a French Chef, I particularly love Vietnamese food,” said Gardner, referring to a significant French influence attributed to France’s former occupation of Vietnam.

Escrow on the business is scheduled to close early next month.
