MSc Geo Informatics – Admissions Open at Sangam University Bhilwara Rajasthan

BHILWARA, India - April 19, 2014 - PRLog -- To achieve the motto of "Where Aspiration Meets Opportunity", the curriculum at Sangam University, in addition to being strong in fundamentals and rich in analytical techniques, also focuses on broad based multidisciplinary approach and co-operative work integrated education based on vibrant industry partnerships. Such a curriculum would enable the student to function more effectively not only in the chosen field but also prepare them for adapting to constantly changing circumstances, confront new facts and find innovative ways to encounter and solve new and unexpected problems.

Sangam University offers a 2 year Master of Science in Geo Informatics and the curriculum focuses on various courses such as Principles of Remote Sensing, GIS, Geodesy and GPS, Computers & Programming, Digital Image Processing, Photogrammetry, Spatial Modeling & Analysis, Research Methodology, GIS Application Development, Geostatistics, Web Technology, DBMS, Applications in Agriculture, Water and Natural Resources Management etc. This programme aims to addresses the scientific use of a rapidly increasing flood of geographical information, the increasing importance of geospatial information to several organizations, and the developing market in spatial and geo-referenced information for the mobile Web. It’s indeed a matter of pride that the very first batch of admissions for this program in 2012 attracted students from various parts of India.
