By: RolePages.com A novel titled “Identity Illusions” was recently published, based on the interactive stories being told on the RolePages.com community. The book explores the Eastern Continent of the fictional world known as Hellifyno, and goes in depth into the society of people known as the True Evolutionists. The books characters consist of both original creations, and some derived from characters that frequent the website. http://www.RolePages.com is an interactive storytelling and roleplaying social network that has been active for five years now. The site acts like any standard social network, except that members sign up as fictional characters. Stories are then told through the interactions that the characters have with one another through the various communication tools on the site, including forums, blogs, videos, pictures, and a live interactive chat theater. The book was written by two members of the community, J.L.N. Lewitin, and K. White. It was edited by a third members of RolePages named Angel Wolfe. However on the cover of the book the authors are noted as being “A Dragon and a Nymph” referring to the main characters that the two play on the site. Proper pen names are then displayed on the opening title page of the novel. The novel ends on a cliffhanger, with the main character’s fate left unknown. However the story is actually continuing right now on RolePages.com, where the various characters in the book are actually alive, and moving about the community, telling the story of their struggles as they battle against one another for dominance and control, of the magical mythical world known as Hellifyno.
