Rick Martis Launches Gag Gift Stinky Candle Website That Benefits Animal Shelters

INDIALANTIC, Fla. - May 26, 2014 - PRLog -- Yank Me Candles opened its virtual doors for business on May 12^th, 2014.  Rick Martis, President of Yank Me Candles is excited to offer this unique gag gift to consumers everywhere.  Yank Me Candles’ offers a one sized candle in 12 different scents with names that were designed to induce laughter.  Inside of each candle is a specially designed patent pending disc that has a rather stank aroma similar to that of stepping in fresh dog poo.  That is the gag part of the candle; once the disc is removed one is left with very much so usable and pleasantly scented candle.

Yank Me Candles’ are 100% high quality natural soy candles with cotton wicks.  Each candle is 10.5 ounces and comes in a sturdy gift box to make for easier wrapping and safer shipping.

After years in the business world, Rick Martis decided that it was time to try something new.  This led to the creation of Yank Me Candle.  He believes that while the names of his candles may be somewhat rude and crude, they will make virtually anyone laugh.  Another driving force behind the company is his love for helping animals.  He hopes to one day be able to open a chain of animal shelter to care for neglected animals that are in need of a home.  Yank Me Candle donates 50% of their profits to local animal shelters.

Rick believes that there is nothing a good laugh can’t fix and his mission is to spread laughter one candle at a time while helping animals in need.

When Rick was asked why he is taking on a project of this magnitude at this time in his life, his response was, “I’ve come to the point in my life where I’m saying what the hell, why not?  It’s funny… it doesn’t hurt anyone and if it gives one animal a life and a home it is worth it.”  But he hopes to do more than save one life, his goals are inspiring and his love for animals is contagious.
