Kitty and K-9 Connection Saves Lives, Helps Promotes Responsible Pet Ownership in Anchorage

ANCHORAGE, Alaska - June 18, 2014 - PRLog -- Attention Anchorage Pet-Lovers! Get ready for some exciting events featuring Kitty and K-9 Connection, their adoptable pets, and fun-loving pet and pet themed products that are sure to capture the attention of pet families everywhere!

They will be at the 2014 Alaska State Fair from August 21^st through September 1^st. Located on the Purple Trail (near the Purple Gate Entrance), Kitty and K9 Connection joins Ribbonworks in their joint booth endeavor - “Reigning Cats and Dogs” - filled with beautiful new pet and pet themed gifts, including many handmade pet products.

A portion of the proceeds from the sales of Ribbonworks handmade collars, by designer Leslie Pruett, benefits Kitty and K-9 Connection. You can also pick up a pet tag to match your new collar - all proceeds from the sales of pet tags benefit this wonderful rescue.

“We want to encourage people to stop by and visit us at “Reigning Cats and Dogs” and do some shopping for pet items,” says Carol Hawn-Miller of Kitty and K-9 Connection. “We may be small but we’re a successful non-profit pet rescue that helps numerous homeless and abandoned pets in our local community. We can always use support!”

After the Alaska State Fair, pet-companions and general animal-lovers can find this hard working group at the 2014 Anchorage Pet Expo on Saturday, September 27^th at the Dena’ina Civic and Convention Center in downtown Anchorage. This annual event features many exhibitors & vendors who welcome attendees to play, shop, learn and adopt!

Kitty and K-9 Connection and Ribbonworks will be selling T-shirts, sweatshirts, pet toys, pet tags, collars/leashes, holiday ornaments, a variety of pet treats, and great gift items for the upcoming holiday season!
