Serious Coffee Gives Vancouver Island Residents A Chance to Win $1000!

Help Serious Coffee celebrate their 20th anniversary by submitting an original jingle to win.

VANCOUVER ISLAND, British Columbia - July 17, 2014 - PRLog -- Vancouver Island: Serious Coffee is a coffee roasting company with 25 locally owned cafes located throughout Vancouver Island.  2014 is Serious Coffee's 20th anniversary and as a way to celebrate and say thank you to their loyal customers, they are hosting a Jingle Contest for all Vancouver Island residents to participate in.

The original jingle is submitted starting Monday, July 21, and it is then uploaded to their website where visitors to the site can vote for their favourite jingle.  The winner will be selected from the top twenty that garner the most fan votes.  The contest is open to all ages and the only requirements are that the jingle be completely original, 10-15 seconds long, suitable for all ages, and be about Serious Coffee in some way.  This gives a lot of room for artistic expression.

Of all the ways to give back, why was a Jingle contest the way to go?  "Thanks to Facebook, Twitter, other social media sites, our website and traditional communication options like radio, we are able to showcase the winning jingle's creator in so many more ways and to far more people than ever before, giving them an opportunity for real exposure.  It's a tangible, meaningful way for us to give back to our fellow Islanders; a thank you with substance." says Jeannette Humphreys, Special Projects Coordinator for Serious Coffee.

About Serious Coffee:

Serious Coffee is a coffee roasting company located in Duncan, BC and has 25 locally owned franchises located from Sidney to Campbell River and Port Alberni.  Thanks to their loyal fans, a small Vancouver Island company is making an impact in the coffee world. Their unwavering commitment to serving fresh coffee, (and when they say fresh they don't mean simply fresh brewed, they mean fresh all the way through the manufacturing process to your cup), has generated diehard Serious Coffee customers.  Those who know about Serious Coffee understand that the beans are not roasted until a café places an order, the coffee is then delivered the next day.  Fresh brewed coffee is great but it’s only as good as the beans that are used and that's the difference in the experience you will have in a Serious Coffee cafe versus other companies.

Roasted, delivered and brewed fresh...that's what 'fresh' should stand for.
