South Carolina places Body Art Training Group on its list of approved health training programs

COLUMBIA, S.C. - April 23, 2015 - PRLog -- The South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control has placed the Body Art Training Group on its list of Approved Health Training Programs for tattoo artists and body piercers.

South Carolina tattoo artists and body piercers can now fulfill their bloodborne pathogens training requirements by taking a Body Art Training Group course entitled "Bloodborne Pathogens Training and Infection Control for Body Art Professionals (BBP300)."

This is an online, narrated course. Students taking this course can ask questions and receive answers from the instructor via phone. Students can print a Certificate of Completion once they have finished the course.

In addition to meeting the training requirements of the South Carolina Dept. of Health and Environmental Control, this course also complies with the initial and annual OSHA bloodborne pathogens training requirements for employees who have potential occupational exposure to blood and other potentially infectious materials.
