The Witness 1080p DVR mirror works with the Ambarella A7 image processing chip, the same chip used by popular action camera companies.

The mirror itself looks like a factory original mirror from the front, but on the back there is a poseable camera lens used to record driving activity.While the drive recording function has applications for fleet use as well a for people who like to share their driving experiences, The Witness also adds valuable security and safety features that Mobile Safety Accessories believes' are unique.

Aside from giving drivers or fleets who want to record their driving activity a high quality, descreet, drive camera that is always connected to the vehicle, with no exposed or hanging wires in your windshield."

"We have engineered this camera system so that it will continue to operate for up to 48 hours after a driver has turned off their vehicle. This allows the camera to enter sleep mode, and during this 48 hour time period the camera will be activated upon motion or shock. So if someone runs into your car in a parking lot, or even walks in front of your car, the Witness will record the event."
