GOOD MEN To Premiere at the Big Apple Film Festival on International Men's Day

NEW YORK - Nov. 4, 2024 - PRLog -- It's altogether fitting that GOOD MEN will have its Northeastern Premiere at the Big Apple Film Festival (BAFF) on November 19th, International Men's Day, a day which celebrates the positive values men bring to the world, their families and communities.

The documentary centers on Director Bobby Roth's personal exploration of what it means to be a "Good Man". Roth said of the upcoming screening, "It's always been the culmination of my dreams to see my films open at a cinema in New York City.  I never really feel the movie is completed until I'm watching it with an audience in 'the city that never sleeps.'"

Nearly 41 people share very intimate accounts from differing gender perspectives.  Roth reached out to his friends and colleagues including entertainment notables, leaders in education, mental health and even Rabbis.   Sharing sometimes very personal stories include, last year's Emmy winner for 'Barry,' Henry Winkler, Tom Morello, lead guitarist of the mega-rock band 'Rage Against the Machine', Robert Patrick from the 'Terminator' films and TV series 'Scorpion,' Ming-Na Wen, the voice of 'Mulan' and star of the TV show, 'Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' and also Clark Gregg from 'Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' and 'Captain America'. There is also the former head of the Motion Picture Academy, Hawk Koch and Oscar winning director Taylor Hackford who was also President of the Directors Guild of America.

It's a great group and has already generated rave reviews. Other interviewees include John Cho from 'Star Trek', and Eric Dane from 'Euphoria' and 'Grey's Anatomy, 'Rob Morrow from 'Numbers' as well as Peter Coyote from Steven Spielberg's 'ET' and the voice of the Oscars.
