Boys & Girls Clubs of Monterey County to Host Community Breakfast

MONTEREY, Calif. - Sept. 3, 2014 - PRLog -- The Boys & Girls Clubs of Monterey County (BGCMC) will celebrate its 2014 Salinas Valley Community Breakfast on September 18, 2014 at the BGCMC Salinas Clubhouse. This event will recognize individuals and community partners in the Salinas Valley who have provided extraordinary service to BGCMC. Guests will also learn about the impact the Club has made on Alumni currently serving our community and its youth.

This year's special honorees receiving the Luis Perez Community Service Award are:

Salinas Sports Complex

The Salinas Valley Community Breakfast begins promptly at 7:30 a.m. and ends at 9:00 a.m.  Reservations are $20.00 per individual, and various sponsorship opportunities are available.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Monterey County (BGCMC) has played an integral role in the community for 46 years.  With Clubhouses in Seaside and Salinas, BGCMC provides youth between the ages of 6-18 an afterschool safe haven where they are mentored to achieve academic success, acquire healthy lifestyles, and develop good character and citizenship.  Over 95% of the total budget comes from generous individuals, corporations, and foundations.
