Van Holten's Welcomes Fred Sharkey as New Controller

WATERLOO, Wis. - Sept. 16, 2014 - PRLog -- Van Holten’s, the world’s leading individually packaged pickle producer, is proud to announce the addition of Fred Sharkey as their new Controller.

Fred will lead all aspects of accounting, finance and cash management within Van Holten’s. He will also manage the internal IT infrastructure and play a key role in Van Holten’s continued growth.

Fred brings more than twenty years of accounting and finance experience with a background in a variety of industries including public accounting, manufacturing, high tech, and leasing/services. Most recently, Fred was a controller for RPM – Beverage at ORBIS Corporation where he managed the financial reporting, budgeting, and provided support functions for financial analysis and decisions for a dunnage leasing business.

He has a BBA in Accounting from the University of Notre Dame and holds a dual MBA in Marketing & Distribution Management from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. He is also a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Management Accountant.
