By: Vound Customers have long reported Intella as a highly user-friendly product that delivers exceptional performance levels (https://www.vound- “Intella by Vound is a powerful forensic search product that is literally shaped by customer input,” states Vound’s founder and Chief Technology Officer, Peter Mercer. “Vound’s overarching goal is to integrate state-of-the art technology with ease-of-use and simplicity, and we’ve found one of the ways as a software company to achieve this is by including our customers in the design process,” Mercer concludes. With a mandate to help organizations reduce the time, costs and personnel otherwise spent on e-discovery and digital investigations, Vound’s software developers engaged a wide-range of customers for feedback on the product throughout the design stage as well as at Beta release phase. The resulting version 1.8 product release of Intella contains a number of significant technological enhancements promoting even greater productivity for customers, including: - Faster indexing speeds: typically 2x to 4x faster in total indexing time (more on high-end machines), depending on the evidence data and hardware used. - Several new features for searching and displaying paragraphs. - Faster disk image processing and additional file system formats supported. - A task wizard for defining indexing tasks such as applying keyword lists and tagging or exporting results. Tasks can then automatically run after indexing completes or manually started at a later point. - Added support for Bloomberg email dumps. “Today many organizations struggle to manage ever-expanding case loads with shrinking budgets and resources – they are constantly being asked to do more with less,” advises Peter Mercer. “Intella has helped some of the best known government agencies, enterprises and legal service providers achieve the seemingly impossible by delivering a powerful e-discovery solution that can be easily used by experts non-experts alike, at a price-point considerably lower than they expected,” Mercer says. Vound’s Intella product range offers a forensic search solution for a wide range of user requirements, from single users through to multiple reviewers who need to work independently and simultaneously. The premium product, Intella Connect, enables multiple reviewers to collectively search electronically stored information (ESI) using a web browser over HTTP or HTTPS and does away with the need to install software on each local machine. As Intella is not charged on a per gigabit basis customers know up front the total cost of the solution without any surprises further down the track.
