Follow on Google News | La-La Land Records To Release SOCOM 3 & SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs Combined Assault SoundtracksBy: CW3PR available November 18, 2014 at www.lalalandrecords.com and other select online soundtrack boutiques. Five years after gaming fans circulated an online petition to get Dooley’s albums released, their requests have been answered says album co-producer Dan Goldwasser. “It's exciting that we're able to finally release the music from Dooley's great scores. I had worked with Jim on an original soundtrack assembly back in 2007, but for various reasons, it wasn't able to move forward. I'm thrilled that we had this opportunity to work with the fine folks at Sony Computer Entertainment America to put together an expanded 2-disc assembly.” The SOCOM 3 soundtrack is one that Dooley is especially proud of because not only was it his first A title video game, but it was also his first solo orchestral score. “I put so much love and effort into these games that I can’t really express how happy I am that they are finally getting released” Dooley remarks. A few of his most notable titles since have included the feature films Obsessed and When A Stranger Calls, ABC’s highly acclaimed television series Pushing Daisies, for which he took home an Emmy award and Epic Mickey, Epic Mickey 2:The Power of Two, and Infamous video games. Goldwasser also adds, “Putting together the album was not an easy task; there is over three hours of music from SOCOM 3: U.S. Navy SEALs, and just under five hours of music from SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs Combined Assault. With that much material to sift through, coming up with the perfect album assembly that has an emotional flow, and is enjoyable to listen to, is quite the challenge. Jim and his team were incredibly supportive through the whole process.” SOCOM 3: U.S. Navy SEALs, is a third person tactical shooter game for Play Station 2 developed by Zipper Interactive in collaboration with the Naval Special Warfare Command. It was published by Sony Computer Entertainment in October of 2005 and was added to the list of Sony Greatest Hits games a year later. Soon after SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs Combined Assault was released in North America as a follow up to SOCOM 3. Combined Assault’s campaign mode offered 18 missions and took place solely in the fictional country of Adjekistan. The country was supposedly situated somewhere in the Afghanistan/ End
