RJM Licensing Looking Forward to Wild Ride with Dogs in Cars

RJM Licensing, Inc. has just signed on to represent professional photographer Lara Jo Regan’s collection of Dogs in Cars.  As the program title suggests this is a collection of nearly one hundred photos of dogs showing unparalleled joy when riding or playing in a car.  To take the photos, Ms. Regan built a special harness and actually hung out of a car window while photographing her subjects.

    Lara Jo Regan said, "A dog on a car ride is a potent metaphor for fun, adventure, pure freedom and unadulterated joy.  And the visual possibilities are endless.”  She came up with the idea for a Dogs in Car photo series when she was stuck in LA traffic and each time she saw a dog sticking its head out the window, her mood was elevated.  That was her “ah ha” moment.

    According to Rob Mejia, President of RJM Licensing, Inc., “I found this program when I was walking Book Expo America and on the front of the Norton catalog the featured upcoming book was Dogs in Cars.  Immediately I thought that this would be perfect for calendars, stationery (especially greeting cards), puzzles and more.  So I called Lara, we hit it off right away and I can tell that this will be a fun program to work.”

    In addition to the Dogs in Cars program, additional humorous photography programs are being developed or reworked which means RJM will have more news about new photography collections soon.
