Hygiene for Children - A Must Factor

By: GPC Medical Ltd.

DELHI, India - Nov. 14, 2014 - PRLog -- The first prime minister of India Mr. Jawaharlal Nehru loved children and therefore his birthday is celebrated as children's day. Popularly known as "Chacha Nehru" by the children, he was attracted by their innocence and emphasized greatly on shaping their future well. Mahatma Gandhi the father of the nation and now our present Prime Minister Mr. Narender Modi speak vociferously about cleanliness and hygiene. Amalgamating the great leaders' views together we at GPC Medical Limited emphasize greatly on the hygiene for children.

Children are the treasure alcoves of our country. Their physical health is as important as their education. A healthy child does not miss out on the classes and can spend more number of hours learning both outside and inside the classes.

Apart from the parents efforts towards giving the child a healthy atmosphere, there are certain habits that need to be inculcated in the child, right from the early years of her/his growing.

Here is a list of some habits a child must be bred with for a healthy living

·         Wash hands before and after eating the meals or any kind of food

·         Wash hands after using the toilet

·         Do not litter any kind of waste product at any public place. Even after eating a sweet the child should be taught to throw the wrapper in the dustbin

·         A child should not be put into the habit of eating junk foods. Chocolates, pizzas, burgers, ice creams, chips, sweets and other fattening food should be avoided. Emphasis should be given to eat fruits and vegetables. Healthy food increases the immunity of the child and makes their internal organs strong to fight the bad bacteria in the air

·         A child should be taught to clean their genital parts to avoid infection

·         Street food should be avoided

·         Brushing their teeth twice and taking a bath daily

·         Even for small young boys and girls they should be taught to use washrooms or toilets for urinating

·         They should be taught to keep not only their rooms clean but also their surroundings

·         Drinking clean water reduces the chances of getting a viral or other infections

·         Exercising or yoga helps the mental and physical growth of the child

Most children love to play with mud and splash muddy water. It is very important that the children are cleaned properly after the play especially before their meals. A child who has hygienic habits is less likely to miss out on school and show a better performance academically.

It is unfortunate that a lot of the children of our country die due to basic health facilities especially those belonging to the very poor families.

http://www.GpcMedical.com in its drive to educate the people on health issues requests the more blessed children to share their goods and belongings with the less fortunate children and also follow the rules of hygiene.
