The Midas Mount SkaterailSlider was developed by sending out our prototype slider with Los Angeles independent filmmakers for several months, using the feedback to create a product that’s sturdy and functional and most importantly, affordable.

The SkaterailSlider is ideal for filmmakers shooting on DSLR, RED, Blackmagic or other digital cinema formats. It can support large and heavy camera builds but is lightweight and easy to carry. It can be center mounted on a tripod or on C-stands or light stands.

The slider is a 10″x10″ powder coated aluminum plate with skate wheels and the track is made of 1″ anodized aluminum tubing and brush finished aluminum ties.

The SkaterailSlider comes in 4-Foot or 6-Foot track lengths. The track can be center mounted on a tripod with a standard 3/8” bolt.
