Ascend a water slide. What goes up, must come down. With Kalahari, Great Wolf Lodge, Maui Sands, Castaway Bay and Soak City at the ready, Sandusky is without a doubt one of the country’s premiere water park destinations. Nap on a beach. While Ohio may not be well known for its beaches, there’s a few that are downright gorgeous. Nickelplate Beach in Huron, Cedar Point Beach and the Barrier Beach at Sheldon’s Marsh just to name a few.
