CYT NYC announces auditions for WILLY WONKA JR to perform in an Off Broadway theater this spring!

NEW YORK - March 13, 2015 - PRLog -- Students, ages 8-18, are invited to audition for CYT NYC’s full-scale musical production Willy Wonka Jr.! Auditions will take place beginning April 13th in NYC & Northern NJ.

NJ auditions will begin at 4 p.m., Monday, April 13, at Fardale Trinity Church in Mahwah, NJ.

NYC auditions will begin at 4 p.m., Wednesday, April 15, at First Baptist Church on the Upper West Side.

Invitation-only callbacks will be held throughout the week for students with whom the Willy Wonka, Jr. creative team would like to spend more time as they consider casting. The show will perform end of June at the Rose Nagelberg Theater in the Baruch Performing Arts Center at Lexington Ave. and E. 25th St., New York, NY.

A retelling of this classic tale based on Roald Dahl’s book Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and the much loved movie Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory is sure bring to life a world of “pure imagination”. The loveable Charlie Bucket and four bratty children take an adventure of a lifetime when they each receive a golden ticket and the chance to tour Willy Wonka’s magical chocolate factory. It’s a scrumdidilyumptious musical guaranteed to delight everyone's sweet tooth!
