DULUTH, Ga. - March 17, 2015 - PRLog -- Flowersfor Anaphylaxis, an all volunteer grassroots outreach effort offering condolences to families who have lost loved ones to food induced anaphylaxis announced today that the following events have been planned nationwide to celebrate and honor the lives of those lost to anaphylaxis (a life threatening allergic reaction).  “Never to be forgotten and remembered as the reason we must continue to raise awareness as to the impact of life threatening food allergy,” explained Aleasa M Word, CLC, CEIC, founder of the program and an advocate/educator in the food allergy community.  An estimated 15 million Americans suffer from life threatening food allergies-an invisible and potentially deadly disease which sends someone to the emergency room every three minutes battling a food allergic reaction.  According to a study released in 2013 by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, food allergies among children increased approximately 50% between 1997 and 2011.

“Love Remember’s  Day is a period of remembrance that has taken a tragedy and turned it into a bittersweet day to remember the wonderful spirit of my sweet boy Giovanni Cipriano as well as all our other sweet  angels that have been taken way too soon”, explained Gio’s mother, Georgina Cornago Cippriano. “I am forever grateful to LRD founder, Aleasa Word, for bringing this day into fruition and forever grateful for all those who share their love and tears, both for those taken or fighting the horrible epidemic of food allergies.  LOVE NEVER DIES!”

Teal, gold and white were chosen as the Love Remember’s Day colors  represent food allergy, magnificence of life and the purity of the spirit, respectively.
