Lutheran Family Health Centers First To Launch RateMyHospital® in Brooklyn

NEW YORK - March 17, 2015 - PRLog -- Brooklyn, New York – March 17, 2015 – In its ongoing effort to solidify patient satisfaction, Lutheran Family Health Centers (LFHC) has launched a new resource to measure patient feedback. The organization will give patients the opportunity to share their feedback via a smartphone-based tool called RateMyHospital®.

Lutheran Family Health Centers is the first Brooklyn-based health care organization and the first Federally Qualified Health Center to begin using this innovative tool. After leaving the health center, patients will receive a text message thanking them and establishing an instant dialogue on their visit experience.

"More traditional surveys take weeks to administer and while they provide valuable information, they do not resolve the issue of simply listening to how our patients feel at the point of care or shortly thereafter,” said Larry McReynolds, LFHC President. “We are proud to be innovators and champions for quality,” he said.

Quality Reviews, Inc. (www.ratemyhospital.com) developed this technology to meet the growing demand of patients, to be a larger part of the "patient experience." The text message the patient receives will have a link with six brief satisfaction questions, using the five-star rating methodology, as well as an opportunity to provide personalized comments on their visit. To remove all of the cumbersome work of collecting and analyzing data, Quality Reviews created an executive dashboard that displays all feedback in real-time.
