North Highland Receives SOC 2 Validation

ATLANTA - March 17, 2015 - PRLog -- March 17, 2015 – North Highland (http://northhighland.com/) is proud to announce that it has received an unqualified opinion for their recently completed SOC 2 Type II examination of their controls related to the Trust Services Principle for Privacy as per criteria set by the AICPA. The scope of the examination pertained to the firm’s management consulting services system and was tested in the areas of overall security, confidentiality, and privacy.

This rigorous testing North Highland underwent insures that client’s most valuable data is safe with the firm and client protection is held at the utmost importance. Data security is incredibly important in today’s business environment and North Highland is committed to and armed with optimal protection systems.

SOC 2 is a reporting standard set forth by the AICPA for reporting on controls at a service organization. SOC 2 confirmation requires an auditor to obtain evidence that the service organization’s system description is fairly presented, that controls are suitably designed to fulfill the criteria and operating effectively for a defined period.
