L. International Noida, Richa Global Exports Pvt. Ltd Noida, Manesar, Gurgaon Harmany Garment (Satya Paul) Manesar, Paramount Pvt. Ltd. Okhla, Noida, Ritu Kumar, Gurgaon, Modelama Export Gurgaon, etc. “ATDC has given a new direction to my life. Coming from a marginalized family, it was difficult for me to pursue my higher studies. But ATDC helped me and supported me to realize my dream of studying and working in apparel sector. I have job right after I finished my training and now I will be able to support my family and live a better life.” Neha Gupta student of ATDC who got placed in Rozgar Mela. Shri Hari Kapoor, Vice-Chairman, ATDC Gurgaon, said “We get continuous feedback about how effective our training courses are from the exporters and others who recruit them. The fact that they are coming back repeatedly to hire ATDC trainees make our resolve to do even better”. Speaking on the occasion Dr. Darlie Koshy, DG & CEO, ATDC & IAM said “The proof of the pudding is in the eating we are particular that the trained candidates get maximum wage employment which is the litmus test for their employability. Lot of girls and boys are even willing to relocate away from their habitat in search of a dependable income. Nowadays many women take up work at home by doing Gotta Patti etc, which is also part of fashion industry. We are happy more and more companies choose and prefer ATDC candidates even by those who have in company or other training centers. ATDC has an integrated approach… skill training without employment linkage is a futile exercise.” ATDC organizes zonal ‘Rozgar Melas’ for its students.
