Follow on Google News | The Washington Post Names The Meadows School No. 1 School in NevadaThe school was also recognized as the fifth most challenging private school in the U.S.
“We feel extremely honored to receive this recognition from The Washington Post, and it would not be possible without the hard work and dedication of our talented faculty and students,” said Jeremy Gregersen, head of school at TMS. “We strive to challenge our students every day so that they can achieve their full potential both academically and as leaders of the community.” In 2014, 162 TMS students sat for 434 AP examinations. The school’s AP pass rate, the number of students who received a score of three or above on the exam, was 87 percent, compared to 51 percent in Nevada and 59 percent nationally. TMS boasts a 100 percent four-year college placement track record and has produced numerous National Merit and Presidential Scholar recipients.
