Doorway Into Light: a Talk with Rev Bodhi Be

AUSTIN, Texas - April 28, 2015 - PRLog -- I came to Maui to meet Rev Bodhi Be. When I first "met" him in a webinar series I had purchased some time ago, I was immediately taken in by his way of seeing the world. If you do not know of him, you need to keep him in your radar or better yet, come out and meet him yourself at the Death Store on most Saturdays (that's his shift).

Bodhi Be, the Executive Director of 'Doorway Into Light', is a teacher, guide and ordained minister in the universal Sufi lineage of Hazrat Inayat Khan and Samuel Lewis.  He is an independent funeral director, hospice volunteer, notary, and the founder and president of Doorway Into Light’s The Death Store, Hawaii’s first certified green funeral home.  He is happily married for 29 years, parent and step-parent to 5 grown children. A grandparent, coffin maker, crematory apprentice, artist, entrepreneur and organic homesteader on Maui, where he has resided for 37 years.

Rev Bodhi Be, Leilah Be and Ram Dass (Dr. Richard Alpert) founded Doorway Into Light; it is engaged in advocacy and educational programs on Death and Dying on Maui, with families and professionals in the field, as well as actively engaged in helping dying people, their families and care-givers. website: www.doorwayintolight.org
