Tellin' Tales Comedy Tour featured act at Opry Mania in Branson MO

BRANSON, Mo. - May 7, 2015 - PRLog -- Branson MO recently hosted the very successful Opry Mania event at the Branson Star Theater.  Shows from all across America converged on the small Ozark town that is known as the music show hub of America.  Singers, songwriters, dancers, musicians, and comedians took the stage to showcase their talents in the star studded town.  On the final night during the finale time slot of the event The Outpost Opry from Georgia featuring award winning performers set the stage for professionalism.  Opening the show was Chico from Discovery Channel's Moonshiners and Joey Thurmond from a new soon to be released reality series "Funny Business" both make up the Tellin' Tales Comedy Tour.  Walking out on stage for a breath of comedy fresh air.  These two gentlemen are genuine southern story tellers that had the audience rolling with laughter.  Addressing the audience with interaction and recognizing the Veterans in attendance these two honored the memories of their comedic inspiration like Jerry Clower, Andy Griffith, and Minnie Pearl.  After the performance the audience thronged the two for autographs and pictures with comments like "Y'all were the highlight of my trip to Branson", and "Thank you for doing great CLEAN comedy!"

The show continued with great performances from the shows host Joey Garland, Sonja Gardner, and Raquel Rae all of whom delived spectacular performances of great country standards.

The show concluded with a 10 song set from Conway Twitty's son Michael Twitty.  He was joined by Raquel Rae and Sonja Gardner for duets that his father had performed with Loretta Lynn to the delight of the audience.

After the show the audience remained in the lobby with all the performers who remained until each and every autograph was signed and every picture was taken.
