MESA Announces Promotion of Joseph Steffes to Associate

DALLAS - May 19, 2015 - PRLog -- MESA, a leading landscape architecture and urban design firm announced today the promotion of Joseph Steffes to Associate in its Dallas office.

Since joining MESA in 2013 as a Senior Project Manager, Joseph has managed complex design projects while maintaining excellent client relations. He fulfills a key leadership role at MESA with more than 14 years of diverse professional experience in project types such as education, corporate, municipal, parks, healthcare, senior living, and mixed-use. He has played an integral role in the current project, T. Boone Pickens Hospice and Palliative Care Center in Dallas, a first of its kind in the nation and Dallas’ first freestanding hospice. This project recently earned a 2015 Honor Award from the Texas Chapter American Society of Landscape Architects and a 2015 Merit Award from Environments for Aging. In addition, his planning, design and project management for Meadowmere Park in Grapevine earned the firm a 2015 Honor Award for planning and analysis from the Texas Chapter American Society of Landscape Architects.

The firm’s leaders recognize Joseph for his leadership and consistent ability to take on new challenges. Joseph received his Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from Kansas State University in 2001 and he is a Registered Landscape Architect as well as a LEED Accredited Professional. He currently serves on the Exam Writing Committee for the Council of Landscape Architectural Registration Boards.
