PRLog -- Fargo, ND - On May 12, Joanne Vieweg, President of the Red River Valley Asperger-Autism Network (RRVAN), presented a plaque to Greg LaFrancois, CEO of Prairie St. John’s. Upon presenting the plaque, Ms. Vieweg shared these words, “On behalf of the Red River Valley Asperger-Autism Network, we thank Prairie St. John’s for the support given to those individuals on the autism spectrum and their caregivers and families. There has been increased awareness of the needs of those on the autism spectrum and improved services for them and their families. This is in no small part a result of the support Prairie St. John’s has given and the programs they have developed. RRVAN wants to acknowledge Prairie St. John’s not just for financial supports such as sponsoring the ND ASD conference, bringing speakers to educate the community, and hosting the monthly Lunch-and-Learns, but also the willingness to try new programs such as the ASD summer camps which partner with RRVAN for scholarships and the new ASD day treatment and intensive outpatient programs. RRVAN looks forward to a long relationship with Prairie and presents this plaque in appreciation of your support and leadership.”
