LOS ANGELES - June 9, 2015 - PRLog -- The independently-funded feature film, URBAN LOVE STORY, premiered in Los Angeles on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 to a limited audience and received positive feedback and reviews. The production is now seeking funding for nationwide marketing expenses (billboards, magazine ads, etc.) as preparations to distribute the film through various channels, i.e. Amazon, iTunes and Redbox take place.

“Our films are important, entertaining and comparable to films made by major studios... We have worked very hard to make URBAN LOVE STORY and now we need to market and advertise so that it does not go unseen,” states writer / director Reggie Gaskins.

Adapted from Reggie Gaskins' web series of the same name, the film takes us on a romantically comedic journey following the inception and ultimate union of “Trent” (Reggie Gaskins) and “Daphne” (Diandra Lyle) while posing the question, “when dating, is it ever acceptable or taboo for a woman to propose marriage to her beau?”

The cast includes Diandra Lyle (“Undateable”, “Real Husbands of Hollywood”), Keith Burke (TV movie “The Divorce”, “Life”), Joni Palmer (“A Rage In Harlem”, TV’s “Hill Street Blues”), Antonio D. Charity (TV’s “Grey’s Anatomy”, “House of Lies”), Tanedra Howard (“SAW IV”, TV’s “Tammi Mac’s Bag Lady”), JoAnna Rhambo (“The Debt”, “Solstice”, TV’s “Greys’ Anatomy”), Marston Fobbs (“Double Crossed”, TV’s “Bones”, “Childrens’ Hospital”), Lorey Hayes (TV’s “2 Broke Girls”), Stephanie Charles (TV’s “NCIS, “Bones”) Richard Harrison, Selena G. Thurmond and Chester Simms II.
