A Night to Remember
NASHVILLE, Tenn. - June 10, 2015 - PRLog -- Local author and ecological activist, Irucka Ajani Embry, will talk about his family's A Night to Remember: A Multi–generational Family Book Signing, Photo Exhibit and Presentations (http://questionuniverse.com/mapp_embry_family_books_signing_media_release1.html) on the What's the 411? with Sharon Kay Show (http://www.sharonkays411.com/) on JAZZY 88 WFSK (http://www.wfskfm.org/) on Sunday, 14 June from 7:10 – 7:30 AM.

Irucka will briefly discuss a few items:

Why his family chose to have the Embry Family Book Signing & Art Exhibit—21st Century Thinking & Reimagining (http://www.embrybooks.org/archive/events/2014/february/book-signing/) event in February 2014.
Why his family will have a similar event (http://www.embrybooks.org/events/2015/june/book-signing/), here in Nashville, on Wednesday, 17 June 2015, from 6 – 8 PM, as a part of Chef Martha Stamps' A Place at The Table weekly dinner and lecture/film series at the West End United Methodist Church at 2200 West End Avenue, 37203 (across from Vanderbilt University).
Irucka will provide a brief statement about each of the authors and their respective books.

After you hear this inspiring interview on Sunday morning on 88.1 FM WFSK in Nashville or listen online (http://fiskradio.backbonebroadcast.com/fiskradio/player.php), Irucka invites you to meet his inspirational family on Wednesday. You will have a chance to purchase books directly from the authors, have them sign them for you, view beautiful photographs, and listen to them speak. In addition, if you come for the dinner, then you'll also have a delicious feast on this night.

We will have twin brothers Irucka (Nashville) and Obiora Embry (Lexington, KY); their mother, Dr. Deborah Mapp–Embry (Louisville, KY); their aunt, Ivy Barksdale (Lexington, KY); their father, Jim Embry (Richmond, KY) and their grandfather, James Mapp (Chattanooga) will read from and sign their books. Jim Embry will also exhibit photographs from his travels to Terra Madre and around Italy.

The event begins at 6 PM with a delicious dinner prepared by Chef Martha Stamps and her staff. The cost of this dinner is $12 for adults and $6 for children under 10. Please RSVP for the dinner by calling (615) 983–8850 or e–mail info@marthastampscatering.com.

Around 6:45 PM Irucka's family will read and give short presentations. This part of the program is free and open to the public.
