PizzAmoré Makes it New Home in Mount Dora

MOUNT DORA, Fla. - June 24, 2015 - PRLog -- After 7 years of hand tossing pizzas on Donnelly Street, PizzAmoré has made a significant investment in the local community by purchasing and improving a historic property at Fifth Avenue and the corner of Clayton Street.  According to President Leigh Love, “We love Mount Dora, and felt it just made sense to anchor our restaurant in a spacious forever home complete with our own parking lot.  We took a 1929 building, retained the historic exterior, and remodeled the interior by adding the PizzAmoré ‘flavor’ of several intimate dining rooms and an enclosed porch.”

The all new kitchen was custom tailored for PizzAmoré by Head Chef and Vice President Jesse Thomas. The wood bar was hand built by Chef Jesse from reclaimed wood garnered from the interior of the building. The renovation was truly a team effort from PizzAmoré staff, families and customers – from the initial purchase, the designs, to the final execution. “We had some of the best local construction talent working with us to make our vision a reality,” Leigh said.

PizzAmoré serves hand tossed fresh baked pizzas, salads, wings and a full complement of Italian menu items.  An already extensive array of wine and craft beers will continue to be expanded at the new location at 722 Fifth Avenue, corner of Clayton Street in midtown Mount Dora.

PizzAmoré has built a large and loyal base of locals, in addition to visitors who continue to drop in. According to regular Octavio Diaz, “I travel the entire state of Florida in my work for a food supplier. I’m always happy to get back home to Mount Dora and PizzAmoré. The staff and owners are friends, the pizzas the best for miles around. It’s just a great place to hang out, relax and enjoy delicious food and drink."

PizzAmoré kicks off its Grand Opening this Saturday, June 27^th with a Mount Dora Chamber Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at 6pm at the new location.  The Grand Opening will feature fun for the whole family including live musical entertainment, face painting and a bounce house for the children to enjoy.
