PizzAmoré of Mount Dora, FL Tossing Lessons at Mount Dora High Culinary Class

May 13, 2010 - PRLog -- PizzAmoré is tossing more than just pizza dough lately!

Chef & partner Jesse Thomas of PizzAmoré was recently invited to teach at a class held by the Mount Dora High Career & Technical Education Department’s Commercial Foods and Culinary Arts Program.

With approximately 20 students in attendance, along with Instructor Chef John Bell, Jesse Thomas demonstrated the fine art of pizza making at the school’s expansive kitchen facility.  

“We were excited to take part in this program”, said Thomas.  “In fact, I was so proud to be able to return to my alma mater and share my knowledge with these dedicated local students”.    

“Aside from having lots of fun and teaching the art of pizza, we were really interested in showing the students just what it takes to consistently deliver high quality product in the real world of the restaurant business and ownership” said Thomas.  The culmination of this lesson resulted in the student’s new knowledge and a pizza feast which was enjoyed by all!

“This is yet just another way we continue to give back to our local community”, said Leigh Love, founder and partner of PizzAmoré.   “We strongly believe in the importance of supporting the community where we do business”, said Love.  In addition to this class, PizzAmoré  also donated to the school's Teacher Appreciation Week as well as its upcoming Project Graduation Event.
