Safeguard Self Storage Aquires New Location in Hollywood, Florida

HOLLYWOOD, Fla. - June 30, 2015 - PRLog -- Safeguard Self Storage expanded its presence in the South Florida self-storage market again today with the acquisition of its newest location. This facility is conveniently located at 3090  Sheridan Street in Hollywood, Florida and  has 1,920 storage units and 128,797 leasable square feet.  Safeguard closed on the purchase, its 67th store nationwide, on June 22, 2015.

Safeguard has a deeply established presence in the South Florida market, now with 13 open locations.   As is typical of  all Safeguard  stores nationwide, the Hollywood self-storage facility is designed with security, convenience and customer service in mind. Amenities at this location include: heated and air conditioned space, convenient drive-up loading areas and computer-controlled access to the property.

Allan Sweet, Chief Executive Officer of Safeguard Self Storage said, "Safeguard's strong capital position enabled us to complete the acquisition in just 42 days from execution of the contract to closing. This acquisition complements the company's aggressive ground-up development."
