AVATA, Inc. Commits to Sponsoring International “Rally for Rangers” Motorcycle Team

SAN FRANCISCO - July 2, 2015 - PRLog -- Wheat Ridge, CO, May 25, 2015 – AVATA, Inc. announces Charitable Support for Blue Waves Global Campaign’s “Rally for the Rangers,” where an International team of riders will deliver a motorcycle to the rangers of Taiga region of Hovsgol from July 7-21, 2015.

Irina Walker, a Consultant at AVATA, moved to California and decided to buy a motorcycle instead of a car.  In 2004 she was certified as an MSF rider coach. After trips across the US, South America, Japan, and the Himalayas, Irina heard about the Rally for Rangers and was eager to join the group and ride for a good cause.  “Providing rangers with the vehicles they need to protect the pristine area was a meaningful addition to my passion to ride a motorcycle on different continents,” said Irina Walker, Consultant at AVATA.

The campaign team raises funds to equip 20 more park rangers in Tengis Shishged, Ulaan Taiga and Horidol Saridag National Parks—all key protected areas of Taiga region and part of a large ecosystem. The team will purchase the new motorbikes and ride 1500 miles through the Mongolian highlands, ultimately delivering the bikes to the park rangers which will then be used to patrol National Parks of Mongolia.
