New Automation Solution for Injection Molding Industry

The system allows a single operator to transport molds weighing up to 80,000 lbs. to a press, then insert them automatically without the aid of an overhead crane or forklift.

Once injection molding is complete, the mold can be extracted and moved to a storage location by Airfloat air bearing technology, which “floats” heavy loads on a thin film of compressed air. Because it’s nearly frictionless, Airfloat technology is 10 times more efficient than wheels or rollers.
