 Arlington Heights Ford is Hosting a USO BBQ for the TroopsThe Ford dealership is partnering with the USO for a charity barbecue to help support local service members and their families.
This family-friendly event has been organized to help support wounded, ill, and injured veterans, as well as families who have lost their loved ones in combat. All proceeds will go to support troops deployed overseas and here at home. Those individuals unable to attend should feel free to donate to the cause via the Arlington Heights Ford Crowdwise fundraiser. The USO BBQ for the Troops will be a fun day full of activities the whole family will enjoy with great food and a lemonade stand. There will be an opportunity to enter for a chance to win White Sox and Cubs tickets, as well as a chance to see Steve Harvey live. Other activities include events especially for the kids, such as a dunk tank, a Snow White appearance, face painting, temporary tattoos, and a special guest. There will also be games and prizes, including a bags tournament. In addition to all of the big activities planned for the day, anyone in attendance will have the chance to get a peek at a wide range of popular current Ford vehicles from family cars like the Ford Fusion midsize sedan, Ford Escape crossover SUV, and Ford Focus hatchback to the new Ford Mustang sports car.
