By: Spread The Purple Over the years Spread The Purple has worked side by side with other organizations, such as Goodwill Missions, Salvation Army, Catholic Charities, Purple R.E.I.G.N., Newark YMCA, and Unstoppable Girls. This 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization has also provide case management services for, In My Sister House, Goodwill Missions, Catholic Charities, Salvation Army, Purple R.E.I.G.N., and The Bessie Mae Women Health Center. The website reflects how this work changed this organization and now provides a new foot print for the community. Fundraising and donations have always been a challenge for some nonprofits, but Spread The Purple now offers fundraising and donation options that the community would be proud to be a part of. With options such as, donating your home or vacation home for one week, using their portal to book your next family vacation, ordering t-shirts to support Spread The Purple, or becoming a team member and starting your own fundraiser project. But like other nonprofit organizations monetary donations and supplies are always welcome. “We take pride in offering the best resources and grants found in government programs, to support those who may have short-term emergency expenses that we've all encountered before,” said organizational Founder, Maryange Ariste. “We can get you the help you need with that unexpected car repair, an unusually large heating bill and of course, help those affected by natural disasters find the help they need to recover.” The new site is designed to be a guide to those who have trouble finding the right assistance or to those who may not know what type of assistance they qualify for. The organization plans to make regular updates to policy and services, as well as, provide the public with a blog directly on the site that will give them tips, non-grant information, and tools that everyone can use to change their daily lifestyle for the better.
