Local students get chopped with the “The Scholar Snip"

CAMP SPRINGS, Md. - Aug. 17, 2015 - PRLog -- (Landover, Maryland) - Summer camps end and uniform shopping begins, this is the time when families are getting ready for the new school year. The Hoffler Agency teams up with Community Connextionz to bring “The Scholar Snip” to the community. The Scholar Snip serves to provide complimentary haircuts to students in need. This charity event will take place Sunday, August 23, 2015 from 10am-7pm at Kleen Kutz Barbershop located at 7818 Central Avenue Landover, MD 20785.

The Scholar Snip is in need of physical support from the community. Students are being solicited to partake in this event. Students of all ages are welcome. We need support from the community to make an impact on as many families as possible during these tough economic times. Donations that are needed include: school supplies, book bags, children’s books and gift cards. Monetary donations can be made online on at www.gofundme.com/Scholarsnip.
