Richard Murrey is crafting original music stingers!

SARASOTA, Fla. - Aug. 17, 2015 - PRLog -- Richard Murrey has done it again! Composing stingers, for some of today's popular television shows, as well as background music, such as what can be heard when you watch the Create and PBS network cooking show, "The Farm".

Richard is crafting original stingers for submission to various publishing houses.

Richard's extensive song catalog (complete songs with vocals or instrumental versions) are available, via B.M.I. for other television and music projects as well.

Many of Richard's original songs will remind you of steely dan meets frank zappa, jammin' with stevie ray vaughn, backing the doors, and carlos santana! A wow eclectic genre mix rockin an amazing sound!

Richard established the virtual Chevy Ford Band as one of the most diverse and prolific original bands going. It's music for the thinkin' human being, with beats to rock the masses. Blending roots rock, blues, metal, country, reggae, and funk into one of the most unique combinations of song stylings to be heard today.

The country influences blend the stylings of george strait, alan jackson, willie nelson, waylon jennings, montgomery gentry, sara evans and a host of others. Raw rock, driving blues, and honest true country.

About the artist

Richard Murrey, is a multi-talented songwriter/bassist/guitarist and first rate artist. For over 30 years, he's played all over the southeast and out west with numerous country, rock and blues cover bands... sharpening his writing and playing chops all the while. As a songwriter, other musician's note Richard's talent as a lyricist. Richard has penned and composed every song the band has produced except for "If Jesus wore shoulder pads", co-wrote with Cooper and "Wonderin'" which he co-wrote with his wife, Sheila. He loves laying down that "backline" so the song can breathe and take on it's own personality with Jordan's guitar work, Cooper's keys and Hudson's interpretations of lyrical expression. As a talented illustrator artist, Richard has created CD covers for all of his albums, as well as, for other bands. No ego here! Richard wants his original songs to take center stage.
