Bay City Rollers Starring Les McKeown Opens UK Tour With Special Guest Appearance

STIRLING, U.K. - Sept. 7, 2015 - PRLog -- Bay City Rollers Starring Les McKeown opened their Fall UK tour on September 1 with a sold out show and a special guest appearance at the historic Albert Halls in Stirling, UK.

Bay City Rollers founding member Alan Longmuir joined the band onstage during the second half of the show, to the delight of the audience.

Longmuir, original bass guitarist for the Bay City Rollers until 1978, performed on several songs at Tuesday night's show, including fan favorites Rock and Roll Honeymoon and Shang A Lang.

“It was fantastic playing with Alan again,” McKeown said. “It was great to give him back some of that Bay City Roller buzz.”

The first week of their tour includes five more shows in Scotland, including a fundraiser in Glasgow. Their extensive tour continues through the end of December, with more than 70 upcoming concert dates throughout the UK and Ireland.
