Le Boat adds new smaller, self-skippered cruisers to its 2016 Fleet

CLEARWATER, Fla. - Sept. 9, 2015 - PRLog -- For 2016, Le Boat, Europe’s leading operator of self-skippered boating vacations, is introducing a class of pleasure cruisers designed expressly for couples and small families.  Named the Horizon, the new craft, unique on Europe’s inland waterways, was built exclusively for Le Boat. It features a spacious master cabin and a second smaller cabin that is perfect for young children, a bathroom with a separate stall shower, and comfortable spaces for dining and other activities.  It also features a rear cockpit and roomy sundeck that comes complete with furniture, sink, and barbeque. As with all Le Boat rentals, no boating experience or license is required.

For 2016, the new Horizon cruiser will be available in all of LeBoat’s key cruising areas, which include the Canal du Midi and Burgundy in France, The River Thames in England, and other popular waterways in Italy, Holland, and Germany.

In addition to the Horizon cruiser, Le Boat will be offering two unique and innovative cruise options in 2016. Among these, solo travelers on the Canal du Midi will be able to share a boat with other like-minded single travelers.  As well, the Venice cruise area will offer “Boating Flotillas”, in which several boats will travel together, following the same itinerary, and guided by an onboard Group Host. The Host will provide assistance to new boaters, if needed, help arrange special group activities, and suggest places to visit en route.
